Arizona PIRG’s greatest asset is our citizen members. Citizen members like you allow us to stay independent of corporate money, so we can take on tough issues that others shy away from confronting.
And our members provide Arizona PIRG with the backing we need to take on powerful, well-heeled special interests by communicating with legislators on issues you care about.
So when we choose what issues our staff will devote time and energy to, we try to pick issues that you care about. And we do our best to use your contributions in the most effective ways possible, hoping you will see Arizona PIRG as a great investment for your time and money.
I am proud of the job we have done on both fronts: not only have we worked on issues that have affected Arizonans across the state—such as our program to protect Arizona’s water supply (see page 1)—we are getting results. You’ll read more on page 3 about our victory on energy efficiency standards.
But as Arizona PIRG plans for the future,
I want to know what you think. What issues would you like to see us tackle? What ideas do you have that might make us even more successful in promoting the public interest? To get you thinking, here are a few questions I would love to hear your responses to; please use the form below to submit your answers to these questions:
I hope you will take a minute to share your thoughts with me, either through this form, by phone or e-mail. You can reach me at
or (602) 252-9227. Or, drop me a letter at our address below.
I am excited to hear your ideas on how Arizona PIRG can do an even better job making a difference on the issues you care about.
